7 Tips for a successful product launch: ( taken from Alex Sargent: Exhibition Strategy)

A product launch at a Trade Show is an invaluable opportunity to maximise on your initial sales, whilst gaining vital first impressions of your product.

 
  • Determine your strategy & plan. Launching a new product or service requires detailed planning.
  • Create a dedicated web-page. The new product launch is probably at the forefront of your business plan, so make sure it has a dedicated web-page, and not just an entry on another page.
  • Pre-announcements. Digital promotion is essential.
  • Organise PR. Media Coverage of your product should be top priority.
  • Use the right team members. Sales staff aren’t the only ones who can be effective on your stand. Make sure you have other employees who can swiftly answer a variety of questions.
  • Host a live demonstration. Interaction is the key to success. The Tradeshow is a perfect place to show potential buyers exactly how the product works and why it is a crucial solution for them.
  • Post-Show Promotion. Plan this in advance, take photographs/video’s etc. And comment about the launch and keep the buzz going well after the show has ended.
